BioPBS in Flexible Packaging

BioPBS as a Film and Sealant Layer

BioPBS can be turned into a flexible film using in many type of flexible packaging application. It can act as a sealant layer inside a packaging structure for example as a combination of paper, metallised cellulose and BioPBS, this structure will enables a high barrier laminate which helps prolong the shelf-life and protect the food or inside product content of the package. BioPBS grade for film is accredited OK compost INDUSTRIAL, OK compost HOME by TÜV Austria and the Australian Bioplastics Association (ABA), and will compost back into water, biomass and CO2 without any eco-toxicity. BioPBS enables the pack to be hermetically sealed at low temperatures on conventional packaging lines.
